The Fascination of Light exhibition will be displayed in Bordeaux for four weeks at Cap Sciences in Hangar 20. The event will be co-organised by CELIA (Centre Lasers Intenses et Applications, Université de Bordeaux-I).
Opening eventThe exhibition will be opened for the public on 27 March at 14h. An
official opening event will be held on 28 March: Free guided tours for school classesSchool classes are invited to contact the local organisers in order to register for guided tours through the exhibition. Workshop for teachersOn 28 March, Wednesday afternoon a workshop for teachers is organised to inform about the "NEMO’s Educational Kit for Micro-Optics: Learn and Teach Optics". How this edu kit can be used in the class as illustration of the theory and how it can be used for problem-solving exercises for the pupils will be demonstrated. The attending teachers will receive an edu kit for free. Visit the exhibitionThe exhibition is open to the public on Saturday, Sunday and
Wednesday afternoon during school period and on any days during
holidays. There will be guides present for giving tours and explaining
the exhibits. |
